But, what is it?

Bird Song Fitness was created out of my combined love of theatre, big feelings, and the joy of movement. It has the energy of a great group theatre warmup where you also get an intense, heart pumping, muscle torching workout.

This workout is about coming home to your body. Instead of trying to escape our experience, we are working through it, fully engaging our heart, body, and soul. And it’s playful!

You can find us in Los Angeles for in-person workouts.

If you are curious, here’s a small taste of what you can expect. Give it a shot! You only need yourself and supportive sneakers.

And, who am I?

I’m Robin. I’m a NASM certified personal trainer, a barre instructor, life-long theatre nerd, with a late onset love of fitness. No matter how crummy I feel - If I move, sweat, shake it off - I feel at least a little bit better, and usually, a lot better.

I want to make sure you don’t get the wrong idea here. I am not a jock. I almost failed PE in the 6th grade. I didn’t fall in love with exercise until I was 24 years old. I discovered Jane Fonda’s workout DVD (to prepare for a monologue where I had to do aerobics, duh.) and it was so funny! And fun! I have been grape vining ever since.
